”Denmark was a ball. I mean, seriously, a ball. We started our tour at the Tonder Festival, which is the most incredible festival I have ever been to. We met up with tons of friends from the US and Ireland, and made a load of new ones as well. We love the Danes. Some great jamming went down. Highlights of the weekend included Rushad crowd surfing to Hayseed Dixie in a steamy tent, and Guy Davis, Tim O'Brien, Peter Rowan, and Ross Martin joining Crooked Still for Aoife's X-rated song, "Too Repressed." Good times all around. The Foghorn Stringband was there- we're beginning to think that we can only hang out with Foghorn in Europe, as we will be seeing them again next week in Belfast.
Anyway, after the epic party that was the Tonder Festival, we began our official tour. The venues in Denmark are incredible, and the audiences really flipped out. We operated mostly out of Copenhagen, where we were put up by our incredible tour manager, Eugene Graham, and his family. They live in Christiania, a crazily inspiring commune like section of Copenhagen. Check it out... http://www.christiania.org/ Our local Copenhagen show was at an actual ROCK club in Christiania. We played a crazy show into the wee hours, and it was great. We're psyched to have some Danish myspace friends now!"
Tak til Kudre Haan fra Homesick Hank, for at have henledt denne bloggers opmærksomhed på Crooked Still.
Crooked Still spiller i øvirgt også på dette års Tønder Festival.

I saw Crooked Still play outside 'Woodstock' in Christiania last summer. Enjoyed it tremendously as did the typically enthusiastic woodstock crowd!
