She Talks i Mod Strømmen

“1. Hank Williams – because he smiles through tears when he is very lovesick
2. Woody Guthrie – because he has recorded “Do Re Mi” and “Oregon Trail”
3. Bob Dylan – because he’s much older now than when (and before) he was younger than that now
4. Tom Verlaine – because he sings and plays and writes in a grandiose manner
5. Gram Parsons – because he can be quite soft in no time if it looks like he’s a bit of an asshole
6. Lennon/McCartney – because they were lucky enough to find Ringo Starr and George Harrison
7. David Bowie – because he sings like a lout on Honky Dory
8. Jagger/Richards – because they made a great band with a little help from an awkward drummer
9. Ladytron – because they usher in a new epoch devoid of feelings
10. Kim Larsen – because he almost made it in America
11. Pet Shop Boys – because they are much better than most people think they are
12. Jimi Hendrix – because his first four studio albums are outstanding
13. Kate Bush – because she associates love with red…ah
14. Manu Chao – because he has recorded “Bixo” and “Me Llaman Calle”
15. Lou Reed – because he has a deep voice and talks and sings a lot like Butthead
16. Robert Johnson – because he has recorded “Hellhound on My Trail”
17. Eric Clapton – because he suddenly became cool when he went on rehab
18. Joni Mitchell – because she’s a little bit greater than Neil Young and almost as ugly
19. Sune Wagner – because he was psyched up and mediocre in the beginning but keeps on getting better
20. Michael Jackson – because he deserves to be mentioned even if it means the disregarding of Ramones”
