I pædagogisk tænkning arbejder man
med anerkendelse som essentiel i forhold til identitetsskabelse,
selvrealisering og socialt samspil. Jeg ved ikke om teorien, omfatter
anerkendelse fra ånds- og fagfæller. Hvis den gør, så kan She Talks nok ikke få
et bedre skudsmål end det Wonderland-medlemmerne samstemmigt gav bandet i
sidste uges udsendelsen i Mod Strømmen. Det er nu ikke kun fra kollegaer, at
gruppen modtager overordentlig positiv omtale. Flere singler har været i
rotation på bl.a. DR, ligesom der har været anerkendende nik fra internationale
medier.
She Talks albumdebuterede i 2011
og udsendte i begyndelsen af oktober deres anden plade med titlen ’Heroine’.
Det musikalske fundamentet er stadig pop- og rockmusik som den blev spillet i
1960’erne og 1970’erne. Der har imidlertid sneget sig flere elektroniske
remedier ind, hvilket har givet ’Heroine’ et mere søgende anstrøg. Uden det dog
interfererer med gruppens grundtanke om, at det er sangskrivningen, lyrikken og
vokalen, som skal holde det hele oppe.
På orkestrets egen side er der en morsom liste med tyve sangskrivere/forbilleder. Måske den
kan give et hint om, hvilken retning programmet tager på torsdag, d. 14.

talks and sings a lot like Butthead

“Hellhound on My Trail”
17. Eric Clapton – because he suddenly became
cool when he went on rehab

mediocre in the beginning but keeps on getting better
