”Africa has never left us…”. The Last Poets sit in for Iggy

Ligesom BBC6 hyldede Trojan Records for et par måneder siden, markerer radiokanalen i disse dage halvtreds året for Black Power. Det sker i en række udsendelser. I fredags overtog The Last Poets således de to timer, som Iggy Pop normalt plejer at sidde ved mikrofonen. Selvom udsendelsesrækken hedder ’Celebrates 50 Years of Black Power’, så går The Last Poets et skridt eller fem videre, for at beskrive den afrikanske-amerikanske borgerrettighedsbevægelse. Lyt med her.
