Selvfølgelig var Lou Reeds teenage-pladesamling fyldt med doo-wop singler. I forbindelse med, at der snart åbner en stor udstilling ved navn ’Caught Between The Twisted Stars’ i Library Of Performing Arts i Lincoln Center i New York om Reed, har et par af arkivarerne gravet dybt og fundet ud, hvilke singler Reed lyttede til hjemme i sovebyen Freeport, der er beliggende på den sydlige del af Long Island.
