Bleach Blondes i Mod Strømmen

“Since the formation in late 2014, the Copenhagen trio Bleach Blondes have carried the torch for the uncompromising alternative rock. With their captivating rhythms, thrilling riffs and authentic nerve the band is the successor to the sound of The Jesus and Mary Chain, BRMC and RIDE. And so in a veil of smoke and reverb, songs of omnipotence, ego death and French poetry from the 19th century are born and raised with an intensity that can be measured on the Richter scale. - således bliver Bleach Blondes præsenteret til lørdagens koncertarrangement i KB18, hvor de sammen med Collider varmer op for svenske Dead Vibrations.  

I al beskedenhed kan jeg oplyse, at alle tre orkestre tidligere har været i Mod Strømmen. Og nu vender Bleach Blondes altså tilbage. Den umiddelbare grund er deres nye ep ’Health’, der er blevet masteret i Abbey Road Studios af Sean Magee, som blandt andet har remastereret Beatles, Ramones, Captain Beefheart og Rolling Stones. ’Health’ skulle efter sigende være mere eftertænksom end gruppens tidligere udspil.
