New Jersey-orkestreret The
Dylans ’Seven Days’, The Doors ’Take It As It Comes’, Patti Smiths ’Dancing
Barefoot’ og Neil Youngs ‘Barstool Blues’.
Her ’Seven Days’:
Glenn Mercer , forsanger og guitarist i The Feelies, har
dette at fortælle om ‘Seven Days’:
“I first heard this song sometime in the ’90s while
watching a tribute to Dylan. The concert featured many of my favorite artists
like Neil Young, George Harrison and Eric Clapton performing some of my most
loved, classic Dylan songs. One of the songs that stood out the most was this
song, performed by Ron Wood. I found out that Ron had done a version on his
first solo record. I also discovered that Dylan himself hadn’t ever recorded
it. Years later, I heard a version that Bob did on his bootleg collection. The
Feelies have been covering this recently and we even recorded our version for
an EP of cover songs [Uncovered] for record store day.”
